Hello Abner Baptist Church,
The month of February is off to a fast start. We have two Sunday services and the men’s and women’s monthly meetings, which were all a wonderful success. on Feb 10, 2024, we had our chili supper, and afterward the monthly ladies’ meeting & the monthly men’s meeting separately. Mrs. Helen Brand did the devotional for the women which covered the topic of prayer while Walter Johnson gave the devotional on how to discover God’s Will in your life. Both devotionals were fantastically done and provided a growth opportunity for attendees. I am excited for our next Second Saturday monthly meeting and dinner. The next scheduled event will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the church.
As you all know, every Sunday during our regular church service and in the prayer requests we have been praying for God to grow our church. While it’s probably a bit premature to say we are growing, I will say we are starting down the path of growth. During the regular service on Feb 4 and on Feb 11 we have had ten visitors in our service. Thank the Lord for answering prayers. We need to keep praying and working to move forward for more growth.
