Dear Abner Baptist Church,
On January 13, we had our first monthly men’s meeting. We had a big pot of stew and several types of cornbread. I quite enjoyed the fellowship and think it went well.
As is listed in the church events on the abner-baptist.com website we will be meeting on the second Saturday of each month. If you aren’t sure when the next one is, please check the events on the website. You can find the events listed on the home page.
Starting in February, the ladies will meet with us so we can all enjoy some fellowship outside of our Sunday services. The men will make some homemade Chili and Cornbread. If anyone wants to bring anything else, please feel free to do so.
Our vision is to reach more people for Christ.
As we start a New Year at Abner Baptist Church, I find myself more distressed that our country is in bad shape. Everyone I speak to about this agrees. The United States of America needs to turn back to church. We as a body of believers must come together and worship, pray, and seek God’s will.
It’s going to take God’s children seeking God’s leadership.
We as a body of believers can make a difference, as we have in the past, and can do it again in the future.
